Iraqi joint forces on Monday killed 43 Daesh militants in several military operations in Salaheddin province.
The Air Force took part in the operations in Tikrit, Samarra and Baiji.
In Baiji, an Iraqi anti-terrorism force repelled an attack by Daesh militants, killed 14 terrorists and destroyed a vehicle belonging to the group.
Meanwhile, 10 tons of ammonium nitrate, which is used in manufacturing improvised explosive devices, were seized inside a school in Samarra.
