Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Anne Patterson and Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel Al-Jubeir held a meeting Friday.
The meeting took up latest developments in Yemen and the region, said State Department Press Relations Office Director Jeff Rathke.
The United States and Saudi Arabia agreed that the Saudi-led Operation Decisive Storm would not be open ended, Rathke said.
