Sharm al-Sheikh - MENA
The Arab foreign ministers will meet on Thursday to set the scene for the 26th Arab summit, to kick off in the Red Sea city of Sharm el Sheikh on Saturday.
The ministers will hold a consultative meeting before their public session.
Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al Khaled al Sabah, whose country presided over the 25th summit, will first address the meeting to be followed by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby will also address the gathering.
Then, they will hold a closed session to discuss the agenda, especially the Arab national security and fighting extremist groups.
After going through the agenda, the ministers will hold a closing session during which they will approve the draft resolutions to be submitted to the Arab leaders for endorsement during the summit.
