The Jordanian and Russian governments will ink an agreement to support establishing the 1st nuclear station in Jordan late in March.
The Russian company of Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom) was chosen to establish the station, Chairman of the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission Khaled Toukan said.
The agreement states the mechanism to handle the nuclear waste and the fuel depleted by the station, Toukan said.
This is the second agreement with Russia within the framework of establishing nuclear stations.
