President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has urged Ethiopia to translate goodwill into commitment to the deals that were reached on Renaissance Dam, said spokesman for the Presidency Alaa Yousef.
President Sisi started his activities today by visiting the headquarters of Ethiopian Presidency, where he met with Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome.
During the meeting, Sisi stressed that the agreement on the Document of the Declaration of Principles on the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, which was signed in Khartoum on Monday, is a positive step along the right track for cooperation among the three countries on the Nile issue.
Sisi called for opening a new page of relations between Egypt and Ethiopia based on enhancing confidence-building measures.

President Sisi hailed deeply-rooted relations binding between bother countries, calling for boosting bilateral cooperation.
The principles are an initial step that requires more detailed agreements to clarify the outlines of the Declaration and remove any doubts about the Renaissance Dam, Sisi said.
Teshome briefed Sisi on the goals of the dam, which mainly aims at generating electricity.
Ethiopia is looking forward for promoting Green economy and clean energy resources to produce electricity, Teshome said.
He stressed that the dame will not affect water flowing to downstream countries.
The Ethiopian President voiced his country's desire to encourage Egyptian businessmen and investors to increase trade exchange between both countries.
